Friendly and welcoming staff, a cosy and spacious room, and a delicious breakfast. A nice touch was fresh fruit available for guests throughout the day.

This is sort of an upscale pub, with beautiful décor and rooms up a narrow set of stairs. Our room was in the charming attic, with those little square windows and nice blue marine walls. Breakfast is delicious, particularly the option from the grill. We also had dinner at the restaurant -- you should taste the cauliflower. Bathroom is simple and practical. It is just behind Oxford's train station.
